Montevecchia is located in Brianza, just few minutes far from Lecco and greets visitors with its vineyards that since the second half of the nineteenth century give us the fabulous local wines named “Terre Lariane IGT”. Three pyramid shape hills surrounded by the parco Regionale di Montevecchia e valle del Curone (Regional Park of Montevecchia and Curone valley) where spend leisure time walking in through its woods of chestnuts, oaks, birches.
On the top of Montevecchia hill you will find the Shrine of Madonna del Carmelo, reachable just by foot. This is a spectacular natural balcony with a breathtaking overview on Brianza and Lecco’s mountains.
